Summary:
Mikro Soccer is an introductory soccer program carefully designed to teach young players foundational soccer skills such as passing, dribbling, and shooting through creative games. The Mikro Program is a seasonal six-week course taught once a week for 60 minutes in Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. Mikro Soccer is offered across MKSC regions, including: Muskego, Franklin, Whitefish Bay, Wauwatosa, Nicolet, Mukwonago, Uihlein Soccer Park, South Milwaukee, and Menomonee Falls. The Mikro Soccer Program Director is responsible for the leadership, administration, and day-to-day oversight of the entire Mikro Soccer Program.

Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the leadership, administration, and day-to-day oversight of the entire Mikro Program.
  • Responsible for setting program schedules and course curriculum.
  • Responsible for the hiring, training, and evaluation of program instructors. All instructors must follow course curriculum to ensure program consistency and quality. Evaluation of instructors must follow a determined timeline and be consistently maintained by supervising various Mikro locations and practices.
  • Accountable for preparing an annual budget for all program revenues and expenses while maintaining adherence to the approved budget throughout the year.
  • Responsible for billing and accounts receivable for the Mikro Program.
  • Oversee all program equipment including ordering, inventory, and safety.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to travel throughout the Greater Milwaukee Area to various Mikro program locations as needed.
  • Demonstrated background in youth development.
  • Demonstrated understanding of multi-sports programming including class organization, rules, and instruction techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire, lead, and engage staff.
  • Proficient with web-based and desktop-based software programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Ability to provide customer service via telephone and written correspondence.
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised on multiple projects and assignments.
  • Ability to work mostly nights, with some weekends.

 

Physical Demands

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Must be physically able to participate in soccer-related activities.
