Summary:
MiKro Soccer coaches and staff act as role models for the youth soccer players of the Milwaukee Kickers. The Youth Soccer Coordinator will help to provide these young soccer players with a safe, fun, learning environment. Through soccer based games and activities, we teach kids basic soccer skills and provide them with the opportunity to enhance their ability to follow directions and grow physically, socially, and emotionally.

ABOUT:

MiKro Soccer coaches and staff act as role models for the youth soccer players of the Milwaukee Kickers. The Youth Soccer Coordinator will help to provide these young soccer players with a safe, fun, learning environment. Through soccer based games and activities, we teach kids basic soccer skills and provide them with the opportunity to enhance their ability to follow directions and grow physically, socially, and emotionally.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Directly accountable for setting all program goals including course offerings, schedules, special events and course curriculum. Responsible for the development, implementation and review all course curriculum. Create auxiliary materials to supplement curriculum.
  • Responsible for the sales and marketing of all Mikro Sports programs while working with the marketing team to manage and create in-facility marketing and promotional print materials for programs, leagues, and tournaments.
  • Accountable for preparing an annual budget for all program revenues and expenses and maintaining compliance with adopted budget throughout the fiscal year.
  •  Responsible for the hiring, training and evaluation of program instructors. All instructors must follow course curriculum to ensure program consistency and quality. Evaluation of instructors must follow a determined timeline and be consistently maintained by supervising various MiKro locations and practices.
  • Responsible for billing and accounts receivables for the MiKro program.
  • Oversee all program equipment including ordering, inventory and safety.
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Demonstrated background in youth development.
  2. Demonstrated understanding of multi-sports programming including class organization, rules and instruction techniques
  3. Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate staff and volunteers in a team based organization
  4. Proficient with web-based and desktop-based software programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  5. Demonstrated ability to facilitate consensus among staff and volunteers
  6. Demonstrated personal commitment to professional growth and development
  7. Must be 18 years of age or older

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to drive an automobile
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to demonstrate and actively participate in class programs

MISC. REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to provide customer service via telephone and written correspondence
  • Ability to work with a diverse group of individuals and organizations
  • Ability to work independently and unsupervised on multiple projects and assignments
  • Ability to work some nights and weekends
