"We’ve got the best fans in all of indoor soccer. I wish we could have done better for them tonight.” – Wave Head Coach, Giuliano Olivero

The Milwaukee Wave came into this weekend’s series firing on all cylinders having knocked off the Chicago Mustangs last weekend. Unfortunately, the Missouri Comets were too much to handle as the Wave fell short in the divisional round.
The Wave traveled to Missouri with the hopes of an upset in the making after dropping Friday’s matchup 5-10. They fought hard, but a few early goals by the Comets put the Wave on their heels as they ended their season with a 2-8 loss to the Comets. The Comets will go on to face the Baltimore Blast in the Eastern Conference Championship. The Blast defeated the Syracuse Silver Knights with one-goal victories in both games over the weekend.
The loss for the Wave also marks the end of the season for three of our MKSC Coaches who are also active on the Wave roster: Pablo Da Silva, Marcelo Fontana, and Tony Walls. Here’s how each of them rounded out their seasons, including the playoffs:
Pablo Da Silva: 8 Goals, 14 Assists, 22 Points
Marcelo Fontana: 8 Goals, 1 Assist, 9 Points
Tony Walls: 7 Goals, 5 Assists, 12 Points
They, and the rest of the Milwaukee Wave players and staff, put together a great season. Thanks to all the faithful fans for cheering on the Wave as they made their playoff push and for their season-long support.
