The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) will be holding a Special Topics Diploma course in Milwaukee, WI!  For more information and registration details please see below. Join former US National Team head coach Bob Gansler as he instructs this Special Topics: Practice Planning and Progressions

About Bob Gansler: 
He coached the US National Team at the 1990 World Cup, the team's first appearance at the tournament since 1950. Gansler spent the 2007 MLS Season in Canada as an assistant coach for Toronto FC. Previously, Gansler coached the Kansas City Wizards, winning the club's first MLS Cup in 2000 and the US Open Cup in 2004. He also coached the Milwaukee Rampage to the A-League title in 1997. He stepped down from his coaching position with the Wizards on July 19, 2006.

Description: The NSCAA Academy conducts Special Topics Courses periodically in different parts of the country, as well as special clinics at various events, including the annual NSCAA Convention. Some examples of Special Topics Courses include Zonal Defending, Sports Psychology, Striker Play, Management of Soccer Programs, etc.  

You do not need to be an NSCAA member to attend this course.  All coaches who attend the course who have never been a member or attended a course before will receive a free six-month Introductory Membership includes:

  • Access to the Online Resource Library – 950+ theory based articles, training plans, exercises, and nutrition plans for every type of coach
  • Digital access to the NSCAA Soccer Journal, the official publication of the NSCAA which is produced exclusively for soccer coaches
