The Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club is a large and diverse organization that serves the greater Milwaukee community through soccer teams, programs, tournaments, events, and more.
With over 550 teams and nearly 7,000 youth members, youth recreational and select soccer teams account for a large portion of the Kickers organization. An explanation of the Kickers Recreational and Select teams, along with how they are organized, follows:
Serving thousands of members across such a large geographical footprint is no easy task. To ensure we're providing the best service possible, we created "regions."
Regions are located in the communities in which we serve and are operated by volunteer directors, coaches, managers, and other staff.
Regions each have their own identity but all are members of the Kickers organization. Think the NFL, NBA, or MLS - one league with many teams but all governed by the same set of rules and standards.

Recreational teams are the foundation of the Kickers organization. Teams are established in each Kickers region for boys and girls ages 5-13 (U6-U14).
The main registration period for recreational teams typically takes place in early May of each year. Registration during this time frame is for an 8-week fall and 8-week spring season. A season typically consists of at least one practice during the week and one game during the weekend. Practices take place within your community and games are played against other Kickers regions in the area.
There is also a registration period in spring. Spring registration takes place in early December of each year and is for players who missed registration in fall.

Select teams are try-out based and available for boys and girls ages 10-18 (U11-U19).
Several Kickers regions feature select programs, to check if your region features a select program, visit the Regions page and click on the region that corresponds to your community.
If you do not live in a community that has a select program or are interested in another region, you are free to tryout in any Kickers region.
In addition to regional select programs, the Kickers feature the MKSC Academy Program. The Academy program is open to anyone inside or outside the club looking for premier level training and games. To learn more about the MKsc Academy, click here.
Each select program operates a little differently than the other, this includes pricing structure. The best resource for information on these programs is the region or team website, which can be found by clicking on your region Here.
